UNF came back from being down 10 in the first half to cut Stetson's lead down to four. Down 27-17 at the 8:00 mark, three consecutive Osprey layups made it a four-point game. Conner's shot at 5:44 put it at 27-23 in favor of Stetson. However, the Hatters finished out the half on a 19-7 run that included Jama Sharp hitting a trey as time expire to give Stetson a 46-30 lead heading into halftime.
UNF and Stetson traded points to start the second half, but the Hatters had a 7-0 run to go up by 23 points when a Coddington layup put Stetson up 61-38 at 15:47. UNF was able to bring the Hatters' lead down to 18 at 11:14 with Destinee Smith hitting a trey that made it 65-47. However, Smith's three-pointer was the Ospreys' last field goal of the game as the remaining 12 points were the result of free throws.
