JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Women's basketball announces its 13-player roster for the 2026-27 season, as announced by Head Coach Erika Lambert on Wednesday afternoon.
The Osprey team consists of nine returners and four newcomers, three transfers and one incoming freshman.Â
Jamison Cardwell, Jamisyn Stinson, Alonya Waldon, Abby Knauff, Georgi Buzzetti, Alexa Washington, Elle Blatchford, Karyzma Pierre and Dezuray McGill. McGill, who was named to the 2025-26 ASUN All-Freshman Team, highlights the returners. Washington, the longest tenure Osprey, enters next season as a redshirt junior.Â
Head Coach Erika Lambert will begin her fourth season at the helm. While Associate Head Coach Stacey Ungashick Lobdell and assistant coach Jayla Adams return for their second season, and assistant coaches Chris Dixon and Gadiva Hubbard return for their third season.
"First of all, I am very grateful for this solid group of returners. We have nine young women who are committed to our mission, vision and values. We were in the trenches together last year learning, growing and competing in a lot of close contests," Head Coach Erika Lambert remarked. "These players are hungry to win next season and to make sure every aspect of our program is in alignment with our goals. We have worked hard to build trust and develop the relationships that make college basketball so special. Last year we were one of the youngest, newest teams in the league and this season we will be way more veteran. You'll see that difference on the floor."
"I'm very pleased with the four new additions to our roster this Spring. Our coaching staff targeted players who have won at high levels. With our three transfers, we're adding a champion from the MAC, a champion from the #2 JUCO program in the nation and a tough competitor who was in the rotation on a team in the American. Our incoming freshman was ranked #20 in Texas. More than the numbers, our four newcomers will be a great culture fit for us and will help set championship standards for UNF Basketball."Â
