Women's Basketball Finalizes 2026-27 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Women's Basketball finalized its 2026-27 schedule with the announcement of its non-conference slate on Wednesday.
North Florida faces two programs that competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament: Texas Tech and Jacksonville.
The Ospreys are set for 18 non-conference contests before Atlantic Sun Conference play begins on Jan. 9.
North Florida joins Bellarmine, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Queens, Stetson and West Florida as one of eight teams in the restructured ASUN Conference.
The Ospreys host nine non-conference games and seven conference games for 16 total home games inside UNF Arena.
UNF hosts Florida Southern for an open exhibition on Oct. 27.
North Florida officially opens the regular season at home against Florida Tech on Monday, Nov. 2, before traveling to face Florida State on Nov. 5. The Ospreys return to UNF Arena to face Edward Waters on Nov. 10.
UNF then begins a four-game road trip at Little Rock on Nov. 12, Central Arkansas on Nov. 14, UCF on Nov. 17 and Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 19.
The Ospreys return home over Thanksgiving weekend to host the North Florida Invitational, featuring Abilene Christian, North Carolina A&T and South Dakota, on Nov. 27-28. UNF faces South Dakota on Nov. 27 before taking on North Carolina A&T on Nov. 28.
North Florida opens the month of December at home against South Alabama on Dec. 4 before traveling to Florida on Dec. 6. The Ospreys return home to face Coastal Georgia on Dec. 12 before hitting the road for three consecutive games. UNF travels to Texas Tech on Dec. 16 before facing Florida Atlantic on Dec. 19 and SIUE on Dec. 20 at the FAU Christmas Classic.
The Ospreys conclude their non-conference slate with three consecutive home games, welcoming Tarleton State on Dec. 29, Abilene Christian on Dec. 31 and UT Arlington on Jan. 2.
North Florida then begins its 14-game ASUN schedule on the road against River City Rumble rival Jacksonville on Jan. 9. The Ospreys play each of the conference's seven other programs once at home and once on the road before concluding the regular season at Stetson on Feb. 27.
The 2026-27 ASUN Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 4-8 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.
