Highland Heights, Ky. – University of North Florida women's basketball is on the road for the first time in three weeks, facing conference foe Northern Kentucky on Thursday at 7 p.m., at The Bank of Kentucky Center.

The Ospreys look to bounce back from a 66-51 loss to Jacksonville last Saturday at UNF Arena, ending a three-game homestand. Larkira Jones blocked two shots against the Dolphins, giving her 146 career blocks. She is tied for 12th among Atlantic Sun Conference career leaders for blocks with Kennesaw State's Sametria Gideon (2009-13) and Georgia Southern's Phylette Blake (1985-89). She is only seven blocks behind USC Upstate's Chelsea McMillan (2008-11), who had 153 blocks.

Northern Kentucky sits in third place in the conference standings. The Norse recently upset A-Sun powerhouse Florida Gulf Coast 63-43 on Feb. 1 at The Bank of Kentucky Center. NKU's win snapped a 44-game A-Sun regular season winning streak for Florida Gulf Coast. NKU followed it up with a win at Mercer, before suffering a 14-point loss to Kennesaw State last Saturday. Melody Doss and Kayla Thacker lead NKU with 15.2 and 11.9 points per game, respectively. Doss also leads NKU with 7.3 rebounds per game.

NKU leads the series 2-1 and won the last meeting a month ago 57-51 on Jan. 16 at UNF Arena. However, Ki Conner hit a season-high four three-pointers to lead the Ospreys with 20 points, starting a three-game streak of 20+ point Osprey scorers. Destinee Smith scored 23 and 21 points in the following two games.
