In the Ospreys' (23-22, 9-5 A-Sun) last home games of the season, UNF was able to get their seniors Devyn Findley, Airen Payne and Kara Rutenbar two final wins at home for their careers.
Findley (17-12) took the circle in the first game, but allowed six runs to cross the plate on nine hits. With the recent UNF woes on offense and a run support averaging 1.29 runs a game in the past seven games, a five run deficit going into the bottom of the fourth seemed like a daunting task to overcome.
Like ETSU's (14-28, 3-9 A-Sun) four-run inning back in the third it was the Ospreys turn to start a rally, beginning with two hit-by-pitches, allowing Moseley and sophomore Alyson Bailey to get on for sophomore Ariana Godwin's base loading single to left field.
Sophomore Britanie Block moved to second place in the Atlantic Sun Conference in doubles, crushing a two RBI double down the right field line. Rutenbar then drove home Godwin on a sacrifice fly cutting the Bucs' lead to two, 5-3.
In the bottom of the fifth, freshman Jackie Reese tied the game in the fifth with a two-run jack to left field to tie the score at five apiece.
After scoring a walk-off win in two of their previous three games, the Ospreys made it three with a two-run bomb over the left field fence to secure the first win in the series. Sophomore Shaina Dent was able to lead the inning off with a walk and then was moved over by Reese's sac bunt. Down by one with a runner on base, Moseley hit her first career home run in Navy Blue and Grey.
In the second game, the Ospreys were quick to score picking up base hits when they needed them. Bailey tied her career high in RBI in a game with three.
Bailey drove in UNF's first score of the game in the second inning, hitting in Reese who got on with a double. Reese ended the day 3-for-5, four runs scored, two doubles, two RBI and a home run.
Bailey then scored her other two RBI in the fourth to go along with UNF's five-run inning.
ETSU came back in the seventh, bringing the score to 8-4, before Findley came in with two on and held off the Bucs for Dent's sixth win and Findley's third save of the season. The product of
