
Ospreys Travel South for Conference Play

The Ospreys (15-18, 1-1 A-Sun) have won three in a row after their win against No. 16
Even though UNF committed a season high four errors against GSU, the Ospreys are third in the conference with a .970 fielding percentage.
Through the navy blue and grey's three-game winning streak junior Stephany Hall has amassed a .444 batting average with two runs and three RBI and is hitting .300 with runners in scoring position. Sophomore Amanda Moseley has also stepped up, driving in four runs, along with senior Airen Payne contributing three RBI in the Ospreys' winning streak.
Overall, Junior Caroline Torre tops the leaderboard for the Ospreys with her .311 batting average and 18 RBI. Sophomore Britanie Block has collected a .288 batting average with 32 hits and 20 runs on the season. Block is tied for sixth along with Torre in the conference for hits and is tenth in runs scored.
In the pitching circle UNF is holding its opponents to a .232 batting average and a .218 average with runners on-base.

The Eagles defeated the Dolphins Thursday night with the help of Hayley O'Mara's three-run home run in the first game, 6-4 and a pair of home runs in the second game to down
For FGCU, Courtney Platt (.365 BA/ .606 SLG/ .432 OBP) leads the team with eight home runs and Jessica Gary (.356 BA/ .722 SLG/ .512 OBP) is second with six; both leads an arsenal that is second in the conference in home runs with 23. The Eagles are out scoring their opponents 140 to 131.
