“Provided everyone is healthy, we should continue to improve upon our individual performances and that will advance us as a team. The conference is getting stronger every year but we are working hard to improve as well. This will be the first conference championship meet for a good portion of the team since we have several freshmen on the conference squad. Our goal is always to perform to the best of our abilities and to leave everything out on the track. If we do this, we will be successful and this confidence will carry over into the outdoor season. At the outdoor championships many athletes have their main event in that season (events uncontested in the indoor season) which always bodes well for a higher team finish. Our overriding goal is always to put ourselves in the best position to compete well at the ASUN Outdoor Conference Championships in May, to be held for the first time at UNF this year.”
