UNF to play Hofstra on Sunday at UNF Tennis Complex
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida women's tennis team will finally make its home debut this weekend after playing its first four matches of the 2008 dual season on the road.
The Lady Ospreys will play host to Hofstra on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex hoping to get back on the winning track. Last season, UNF opened 8-0 - the best start in school history - but has not been able to duplicate those results this year thanks in part to a challenging early season schedule that has featured two ranked opponents (South Alabama and South Florida).
The homestand will be a short one, with the Lady Ospreys hitting the road again next week to play at UCF.
UNF's Upcoming Schedule:
Sunday vs. Hofstra (UNF Tennis Complex), 11 a.m.
UNF Record: 1-3
Opponent Records: Hofstra (0-0)

She has won six straight singles matches dating to the fall ... junior Ina Durcakova has picked up where she left off last season in doubles play, tallying a 2-0 mark thus far this spring with a pair of different partners. Durcakova has now won 18 consecutive doubles matches in dual play to open her career with the Ospreys.
UNF Notables: The Lady Ospreys have lost to a pair of ranked foes this season (No. 28 South Florida and No. 55 South Alabama).
