The Lady Ospreys (0-2) are looking for their first win of the season after dropping two straight contests against in-state foes FloridaState and UCF to open the season.
After being held without a field goal from the field against FSU, junior guard Jennifer Bowen bounced back against the Knights with 13 first-half points. Jennifer Guldager also had a nice performance in the home opener with 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Lady Ospreys blocked nine shots against UCF, one shot away from tying a school record for blocked shots in a game.
Bethune-Cookman (0-3) is also looking for its first win of the season. Like UNF, the Wildcats have dropped all of their games to in-state competition, falling to USF, Stetson and Jacksonville.
This will be the fifth meeting between UNF and Bethune. The Lady Ospreys will come into the game looking to snap a two-game losing streak against the Wildcats. BCC took both meetings last season, winning on its home court as well as capturing a victory at UNF Arena.
