As a freshman, 2008: Made an appearance in seven games, with eight at-bats on the season … saw action in the field for the first time on the year in the team’s final doubleheader at Campbell … made four put-outs against Campbell.
High School: 2007 graduate of Chamberlain High School, where she played for coach Bobby Diez … compiled a 39-1 record as a pitcher during her career to go along with a 1.03 career ERA and 211 strikeouts in 43 appearances … allowed only 15 earned runs in 131 innings of work as a senior, throwing 20 complete games … drove in 22 runs to go along with four doubles at the plate … named a second team all-state selection as a senior as well as an all-area and all-district selection all four years … named the Hillsborough County Pitcher of the Year in 2007 … helped lead her team to appearances in the state final four her final three seasons … played travel softball for the Tampa Mustangs, Suncoast Outlaws and Clearwater Bombers.
