As a freshman, 2009: Led the Ospreys with 36 walks, the second closest player had 12 … had three walks recorded in UNF’s two-game sweep over Georgia Southern … was fourth on the team with a .229 batting average … played and started in 50 games where she spent most of her time at shortstop … had five multi-hit games … second on the team in advancing the runner with six sacrifice bunts … recorded her first homerun on the road against Charleston Southern, beating the Bucs 10-0 … in her first regular season game against UNC Greensboro she was able to tally two hits and an assist in a double-play … led the team in assists with 86.
High School: 2008 honors graduate of Pembroke Pines Charter High School, where she played for coach Tom Fadul … named a Second Team All-Area selection following her junior and senior seasons … played every position in the infield except third base … hit a career-best .375 as a junior, while scoring 17 runs … helped lead her team to state runner-up finishes her freshman and senior seasons … team’s only loss as a senior came in the state championship game.
