High School: 2008 honors graduate of North Broward Prep, where he played for coaches John Franklin and Brian McDonald … Helped lead his team to district championships in 2003 and 2004 and a fifth-place finish in the state tournament his freshman year … Shot 70 at the Miami Links Invitational for his lone high school win … Named a second-team all-area selection his junior and senior years … Also played basketball.
Juniors: Played on the Future Collegians World Tour, Florida Junior Tour and Florida Junior Golf Association Tour … Top finishes include a 45th-place finish at the Western Amateur, a second at the Junior Golf Association event and a fourth-place finish in the 2007 Southeastern Junior Championship.
Personal: Majoring in Sport Management ... born July 26, 1989...son of Claire and Dan Marino .. father Dan is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in American football history and was a first-ballot Hall of Fame selection in 2005 … he holds or did hold almost every major NFL passing record, playing his entire career with the Miami Dolphins (1983-2000) … has two older brothers and three younger sisters … would like to someday swim with sharks.
