
Men's Golf Finishes Out Extended Weekend at Bryan Bros Collegiate

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. - North Florida men's golf finished out its extended weekend competing in the second and final rounds of the Bryan Bros Collegiate hosted by South Carolina on Monday afternoon.
Danny Erickson had the top tournament score once again at 1-over 214 fueled by his under par scores in the first and second rounds. Luke Balaskiewicz placed right behind Erickson at 2-over 215, while Jean-Philippe Parr finished with the best final round score at 1-over 72.

North Florida will make its debut in the Sunshine State for another annual trip down to the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational from Oct. 19-20 in Vero Beach, Fla.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Balaskiewicz led the flock with 11 birdies, which included recording six in the second round.
- Erickson made the second eagle for UNF on the 11th hole inside of a flawless start to his second round adding on two birdies and 10 pars through the first 13 holes on Monday.
- Laurens Schulze-Doering finished strong in the final round with back-to-back birdies from his shotgun start.
- Parr made the most pars of any Osprey with 37 total, while joining Erickson as an eagle scorer in the tournament.
- Adam Vermut wrapped up the team score for UNF, while Diego Alvarez Perez completed his collegiate debut as an unattached individual.
- The Ospreys were one of eight teams with multiple eagles across 54 holes.
- UNF also totaled 165 pars and 37 birdies through the two days in West Columbia.
