Prior to North Florida: Played his freshman year (2014) at Northern Illinois... Saw action in 19 games while making eight starts... Had eight hits in 41 at bats and scored five runs... Transferred to Parkland College (Ill.) and helped his team make it to the Division II Junior College World Series... Batted .306 with seven homers, 16 doubles and 39 RBIs... 

High School: Member of the Redwings baseball and basketball teams... Earned all-conference and All-Area honors in baseball as a junior and senior... Member of As a junior hit .333 with a .469 slugging percentage... In his senior season he batted .408 with three homers and 35 RBIs... As a three-year starter, appeared in 90+ games for the Redwings... Struck out only 14 times in the first three seasons of high school baseball (273 at bats)... Was named the 2014 team MVP.
