2016: Set D-1 era (2006-present) school record and was fifth in the league with 30 apperances... Worked 50 innings, all in relief and posted a record of 5-3... Struck out 56 batters while walking 12... Pitched in all five of the Ospreys shutouts... Made 14 appearances in conference play and tied with teammate Bryan Baker with a league-low 2.08 ERA against league opponents... Recorded three saves, the second most on the team... Pitched a season-high 4.2 innings in a 6-5 win over Lipscomb on May 8... Did not allow an earned run in 20 of this 30 appearances (66%)... Fanned a season-high six batters in 2.2 innings against Bethune-Cookman on March 22.
2015: Posted an A-Sun low, 1.78 ERA (24th lowest in the nation) in 65.2 innings pitched... Single season ERA was the second lowest in school's D-1 era and fifth lowest in program history... Was second in the league both appearances (28) and wins (8)... Finished with a record of 8-0, one of three pitchers in all of college baseball with eight or more wins to have an unblemished record... Combined to preserve two shutouts (at Stetson - May 3 & at Lipscomb - April 12)... Threw a season-high 87 pitches in six innings of relief against USC Upstate on May 8... Also recorded a season-high seven strikeouts at USC Upstate on May 8... Fanned four batters in four scoreless innings of relief against St. Louis on Feb. 22... Did not allow a run in his final 20 innings of the season (six appearances)... 19 of his 28 appearances he did not allow a run.
Prior to North Florida: In his only season at Daytona State, he received "Fireman of the Year" honors an award given annually to the Mid-Florida Conference top reliever... He appeared in 24 games and recorded six saves for the Falcons. In 57.1 innings pitched he boasted an ERA of 2.35.
High School: Played two seasons for Scott Grove at Timber Creek... Team qualified for Districts, Regionals and received a final four bid in 2009 & 2010.
Personal: Son of Michael and Carol Naylor... A Finance major.
