Â
The Bears would respond in the next inning with a solo homerun to cut the Osprey lead to 3-1. However, The Ospreys would extend their advantage to 6-1 with three more runs in the bottom half of the second inning with senior infielder Taylor Shephard getting things started with an RBI single.Â
Â
North Florida would go on to tack on six runs in the third inning with sophomore outfielder Kennedy McQuillan and sophomore catcher Caiden Oliva each driving in a pair of runs with doubles.Â
