JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball fell 8-0 to No. 8/10 Florida State in a midweek game at Joanne Field in Tallahassee, Florida, on Tuesday evening.

Florida State jumped out to an early lead with a solo home run in the first, but sophomore right-handed pitcher Kadyn Camper forced a pop-out with the bases loaded to limit further damage.

Junior infielder Hannah Davila began the second inning with a leadoff double, her sixth of the season.

The Seminoles would tack on four runs in the second inning and three runs in the fourth to reach the eventual final.
