DELAND, Fla. – North Florida Softball fell in a doubleheader at Stetson at Patricia Wilson Field on Saturday.

In game one of the doubleheader, Stetson scored a run in the bottom of the first inning to command an early lead. North Florida responded with a four-run frame in the top of the second inning to command a 4-1 lead.

Senior infielder Ayden Allen drove in the Ospreys' first run of the frame with a single to left field, before senior infielder Kelsey Vogel belted a three-run home run. The home run marked the first of Vogel's career. Stetson added at least one run in each of the next four innings to secure the eventual final.

In game two of the doubleheader, Stetson turned in a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning. North Florida responded with a two-run fourth inning when junior infielder Bella Cimino posted her sixth home run of the season with a deep drive to center field.

North Florida captured a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning on an RBI single to left field from graduate student outfielder Hallie Langford. Stetson turned in seven runs over the fifth and sixth inning to secure the eventual final.
