Five Ospreys In Top-20 Propel Men's Golf To Top Placement After Round 1 At ASUN Championship

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Five Ospreys rank inside the top-20 to propel North Florida Men's Golf to a tie for first place after Round 1 at the 2026 ASUN Championship at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club on Tuesday.

North Florida earned the top placement on the team leaderboard at 6-under 282.

Redshirt sophomore Danny Erickson carded the best 18-hole score for North Florida with a 3-under 69 to stand tied for fifth. Redshirt junior Filippo Serra posted a 2-under 70 to be tied for eighth. Senior Adam Vermut rounds out a trio of Ospreys under-par with a 1-under 71 to be tied for 13th. Erickson and Vermut tallied bogey-free cards on the back nine.

Serra is tied for second among the field with six birdies. Junior Jean-Philippe Parr and freshman Luke Balaskiewicz posted even-par 72 scores to sit tied for 19th.
