
Women's Tennis Eyes First-Round Bye Facing Lipscomb and North Alabama

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women's tennis looks to finish its stellar season strong on the road against two of the top teams in the conference with Lipscomb and North Alabama on deck from Apr. 11-13.
The Ospreys will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to take on Lipscomb on Friday, Apr. 11, at 11 a.m. ET. They will take a day to travel down to Florence, Ala., to face North Alabama on Sunday, Apr. 13, at 12 p.m. ET.
UNF will be looking to clinch a first-round bye in the ASUN Championship with a pair of wins this weekend, including against a 7-1 UNA team.
Laurie Barendse has been one of the best players in the conference with a 4-2 mark on the top court in singles, while Nicole Alfaro Solis and Aryana Bartlett have been 5-2 as the top doubles pair. Bartlett, Gabby Goyins, Anslee Long and Jasmin Makela all have only one loss to their records with as many as six wins from each of the players.
The Ospreys have already clinched a spot in the ASUN Championship tournament as one of the six qualifying teams. The conference tournament will be hosted next weekend from Apr. 17-19 at UNF Tennis Complex.
