RIO GRANDE, P.R. - North Florida men's golf finished out a successful early-week spring debut at the Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ospreys were once again led by Filippo Serra, with the help of Jason Duff as well, as they each scored 6-under 66 and 5-under 67 respectively in the final round. They combined for 11 birdies with neither of them scoring worse than par on any given hole to be among the upper-echelon of the overall leaderboard.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Filippo Serra carded a second consecutive round in the 60s with a score of 6-under 66 with six birdies.
The redshirt sophomore recorded the most birdies among the Osprey group with 13 total.
He also notched his second-career top-25 finish, while doubling his career rounds in the 60s.
Jason Duff had his best round of the week with a 5-under 67 score with three consecutive birdies to end the back nine.
He combined for a 2-under 214 score that put up inside the top 36 overall.
Brett Schell stuck in the top 40 in the player's leaderboard that included UNF's third eagle of the event.
Justin Ross joined Duff to share the team lead on the week for pars with 35 total through 54 holes, while also recording four birdies in the final round.
Danny Erickson finished out the Ospreys' week right behind Ross with back-to-back birdies as well.
The Ospreys ended the final round with 165 total pars and 45 total birdies.
UNF also added its third eagle of the week to be one of four squads to finish with at least three total.
