
Women's Tennis Opens Fall Season at Emily McNall Classic

Set to Take Place from Sept. 13-15 Hosted by UNC Asheville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis gets set to open its fall 2024 season with the Emily McNall Classic hosted by UNC Asheville this weekend from Sept. 13-15 in Asheville, N.C.
The Ospreys will likely get to see its first action from the four newcomers in Laurie Barendse, Aryana Bartlett, Gabby Goyins and Nicole Alfaro Solis. UNF will also bring back four returners in Anslee Long, Isabel Oliveira, Jasmin Makela and Alisa Lyshko.
The first day of competition will be against UNC Asheville for the Ospreys, followed by the two tournament days in both singles and doubles in the Emily McNall Classic. This will be the first trip up to UNC Asheville in program history over the first event weekend of the season. It will be the first of five fall events with the Bedford Cup, Mercer Gridiron Classic, ITA Regionals and UNF Fall Invitational lined up over the next two months.
