Higgins Receives Fourth Career ASUN Golfer of the Week Honor

ATLANTA - Robbie Higgins delivered another great week at the Windon Memorial Classic with a seventh overall finish at 9-under 204 to earn his fourth-career ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week honor, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

"Good week for Robbie [Higgins] again in the Windy City," said head coach Scott Schroeder on the senior's performance at Northwestern. "Hope he gets on a roll for rest of the fall season."

The Bradenton, Fla., native had his best showing of the season so far with back-to-back rounds in the 60s to start at Northwestern, including a season-best 6-under 65 with eight total birdies. He helped UNF to their second consecutive top-five finish to start the fall, while having the second-most birdies in the field with 15 total.

After winning twice in 2022 and once last season, Higgins gets his first conference weekly honor since winning his first medalist crown at the same tournament. He becomes the seventh Osprey player to be given four ASUN weekly awards and the second on this year's team to do so.
