Serra Holds Top Score For Men's Golf In Round Two at Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate

LAHAINA, HAWAII - North Florida men's golf continued with a strong second round with four players under par in the second round of the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate hosted by Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon.
The Ospreys have both Danny Erickson and Luke Balaskiewicz near the top of the leaderboard with top-20 placements at 7-under 135. Filippo Serra held the top score in round two with a 4-under 67 mark with five birdies and 12 pars.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Erickson used a strong front nine with three birdies and an eagle to shoot up to 7-under 135 on the week.
- The redshirt sophomore leads the Ospreys in pars with 24 total through 36 holes.
- Balaskiewicz carded four birdies, including three on the front nine, to join Erickson tied for 19th overall.
- The true freshman is among top four in par-three scoring average with a 2-under mark (2.75).
- Serra lead all UNF golfers with five birdies in the second round to be 4-under 67 on the day and 5-under 137 overall.
- Laurens Schulze-Doering matched Serra's five birdies to be 3-under 139 in the top 50 of the leaderboard.
- Chase Carroll rounded out Tuesday's round with three birdies and an even-par 142 combined score.
- Serra has a top-three standing in par-five scoring average (7-under), while Erickson and Schulze-Doering are shortly behind with a share of fourth. (6-under).
