JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's golf will compete in its second tournament of its spring break week when they play in the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern from Mar. 17-19 at Forest Heights Country Club.
The Ospreys will look to rebound from their performance earlier in the week after finishing 13th overall, which was their finish outside the top four teams this spring. Not only will it be their quickest turnaround of the season with only two days rest, but it will also be their first three-day event since the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate in Hawaii to end the fall.

North Florida has one more regular season event before the ASUN Championship at the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt hosted from Apr. 10-12 in Franklin, Tenn.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK
- The Ospreys have competed at Georgia Southern for 10 seasons with three of those times finishing in the top five.
- First appearance at the Schenkel Invitational since the 2016-17 season, where they placed 10th overall.
- Also first tournament in state of Georgia since last season, where UNF played twice.
- The Ospreys has placed inside top four in three of the first four meets of spring, including a pair of runner-up finishes.
- Third par-72 course of the spring, as well as their second consecutive time.
- UNF will have a lineup of a graduate, senior, junior, redshirt junior and redshirt sophomore.
- The tournament field consists of 14 teams, including 10 teams inside the top 100 of Golfstat's rankings.
- They will also compete against four other teams in the top 50, including host team No. 19 Georgia Southern.
- Five Power Five teams will be in the tournament, as four of them are ranked in the top 100.
- No. 41 Liberty and No. 75 FGCU will join No. 45 UNF as the three ASUN teams in this meet.
- The event will start on Friday, Mar. 17, and will conclude the evening of Sunday, Mar. 19.
- One round of 18 holes total will be played on each day from Friday through Sunday.
- North Florida will tee off at 9 a.m., at the first hole during the first two rounds, followed by a tee time between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., for the final round.
FROM THE 19TH HOLE
- Robbie Higgins recorded his seventh top-25 finish of the season earlier in the week with an even-par score at the General Hackler Championship.
- Davis Lee was just behind Higgins tied for 31st with his score of 1-over 217, which included his opening round being under par.
- Lance Yates will return for his second event of the spring and his seventh event overall this season after finished with a 1-over 73 final round at Coastal Carolina.
- Jason Duff will go from unattached individual to the fourth member on the team score with even-par scores in the first and final rounds of the General Hackler meet.
- Cody Carroll will fill out the rest of the squad at Georgia Southern after missing the tournament earlier this week.
- Alejandro Ramos will complete as the unattached individual in his third meet of the spring.
