Broermann Notches 500th Career Rebound in Final Minutes
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball (7-20, 4-13 ASUN) completed its 2022-23 season campaign at home against Eastern Kentucky (18-13, 11-7 ASUN), with an 83-71 loss on Wednesday evening at UNF Arena.
After a 10-point deficit at the half, the Ospreys had a third-quarter push with nine consecutive points to tie the score at 44. Three Ospreys scored double-digit points, but EKU broke away in the fourth period and UNF didn't have the enough time left to respond.
Emma Broermann hit a career milestone as an Osprey with her 500th rebound coming in dramatic fashion with just over a minute left in the game. Brianna Livingston scored her fourth consecutive double-digit game with 19 points, while also being one rebound away from the first double-double of her career in her last collegiate game.

First Half: Lyric Swann got the game started for the Ospreys with a quick three-pointer, followed by a steal and fast-break layup to cut into the deficit...Broermann came with the defense in the final game of her four-year UNF career with a 56th-career block in the first quarter...Selma Eklund posted up in the paint and executed on a tough layup to close the gap at the end of the first to six points...Livingston earned the first points of the second period for UNF with a drive down the open lane...Broermann laid down another block on the defensive side for block No. 57 as an Osprey...after a fight for the ball, Elysa Wesolek received a pass in the air and laid it in to set up a 40-30 score at the half.

Swann ended the third period with a long three to cut UNF's deficit to seven points before the end of the quarter...Rougier drove down the lane to finish with the left hand to start off the fourth...Swann gathered the pass off-tilt and made space for a long three...Broermann earned her 500th rebound as an Osprey with just over a minute left in the final game of the season.

- Broermann recorded her 500th rebound in her 106th game played as an Osprey with 219 on the offensive side and 282 of the defensive side.
- She also finished her career in UNF's D-I history with the best field goal percentage (.535), as well as the third-most offensive rebounds (219) and the sixth-most blocks (57).
- L. Swann also finished the with eighth-best scoring average (14.2) and third-most minutes per game (35.0) in single-season D-I history.
- Livingston either matched her surpassed career-highs in points (19), field goals made (9), and rebounds (9).
- The graduate was one rebound away from a double-double in her final collegiate game to cap off a six-year career.
- Rafnsdottir also matched her career-high in points with nine total off two three-pointers on Wednesday.
