Women's Golf Opening Round Cut Short at Evie Odom Invitational

Ospreys Sit in 14th Through First 16-17 Holes
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - North Florida women's golf had its opening round of play halted due to weather at the Evie Odom Invitational on Thursday afternoon.
The Ospreys finished the day in 14th place through 16-17 holes before play at Old Dominion was stopped. Christin Eisenbeiss holds the top score for the Ospreys at 8-over with only one hole remaining in the first round.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Eisenbeiss put together one birdie and eight pars on Thursday afternoon to fall just outside the top 50 individuals at 8-over.
- Jessie Cai started well with six pars on her first nine and was 1-under on the final two holes before stoppage was made with her score at 9-over though 16 holes.
- Wyndom Burnett had a rough start to her opening round, but picked it up in the second half to hold a share of 64th at 10-over.
- Daniela Gonzalez scored three-straight pars and a birdie on four of her final six holes before play was halted to join Burnett tied for 64th at 10-over.
- Kaitlynn Washburn had the best score through nine holes at 2-over, but suffered some bumps in the road down the stretch to finish the day at 10-over as well.
