Eisenbeiss Cards Best Round for Ospreys on Monday

MADISON, Wis. - North Florida women's golf had four of five golfers improve their scores on the second day of play, as they stick inside the top five heading into the final round at the Badger Invitational.

Christin Eisenbeiss produced the only round under par for the Ospreys at 1-under 71 to bring her total to even-par through Monday's second round. Wyndom Burnett still sits atop the leaderboard for UNF tied for sixth with her score of 2-under 142.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Eisenbeiss showed out on both sides of the course with three birdies on the front nine and no score worse than par through the final eight holes.
The two-time All-ASUN selection currently sits third in average score on par-four holes (3.88, 2-under) and seventh for total birdies (8).
Burnett continued to stand strong near the top of the leaderboard with three birdies and six pars on each side.
The sophomore is fourth in average score on par-three holes (2.90, 1-under) and third for total pars (26).
Daniela Gonzalez overcame adversity shooting 2-over on the front nine to notch 2-under with three birdies on the back nine Monday afternoon.
Jessie Cai scored 3-over 75 on the day while cracking the top-10 spots for average score on par-five holes (4.80, 2-under).
Kaitlynn Washburn rounded out the Osprey group matching Cai's 3-over 75 score to stay inside the top 40.
The Ospreys have played consistently through every hole, as they sit among the top-four teams for average score on par-three, par-four and par-five holes.
UNF is one of three teams in the field to have all five golfers inside the top-40 individual after round two.
