Two Ospreys Turn In Top-10 Placements

MADISON, Wis. - After short thunderstorms delayed the final few holes, North Florida women's golf finished its fall debut tournament tied for fourth at the Badger Invitational. They shared the fourth spot with host team Wisconsin, as well as Washington State, at 12-over 876.

Two Ospreys had an excellent start to their 2022-23 seasons, as both Wyndom Burnett and Christin Eisenbeiss placed inside the top 10. They both shot even-par 72 during the third and final round of play to secure their top-10 spots on the player's leaderboard.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Burnett turned in a top-10 finish during her first collegiate tournament played for the Ospreys.
She also scored all three rounds at par or better, while also finishing with 36 total pars at the event.
Eisenbeiss posted a final score of even-par through all three rounds to sneak inside the top 10 tied for ninth.
The junior is no stranger to the top of the leaderboard, as this is her 10th-career top-10 finish, as well as her 15th top-25 finish.
Both Burnett and Eisenbeiss finished top-three respectively in par-three average and par-four average scores.
Daniela Gonzalez once again made a terrific rebound in the back half of her third round with a streak of four birdies through five holes to share 31st overall at 7-over 223.
Gonzalez also made 11 total birdies over the course of the week, which was 10th overall at the event.
Kaitlynn Washburn added four birdies to her weekend in her Osprey team debut scoring 2-over 74 in the third round to place inside the top 40.
Jessie Cai placed right behind Washburn with her score of 10-over 226 to be tied for 43rd in the field.
The Ospreys were one of three teams, Nebraska and Notre Dame, to have two players inside the top nine spots.
UNF beefed up their par-three average during Tuesday's round to finish tied for the lead with Nebraska.
They were also one of six teams to score an eagle, courtesy of Cai during the first round of play.
