JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf makes its debut for the fall 2022 season at the Badger Invitational hosted by Wisconsin from Sept. 18-20 in Madison, Wis.

This event will be the first of four tournaments played during their fall slate. The reigning ASUN champions starts their first of nine rounds in a span of 15 days, with all of them on the road in three different states.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK

This will be the first time playing at the Badger Invitational in program history, as well as in the state of Wisconsin.
Farthest north that the Ospreys have played since the Gonzaga Collegiate in Couer d'Alene, Idaho, on Sept. 23-24, 2019.
UNF looks to bring home a team tournament win for the first time in a fall debut event.
The Ospreys completed the 2021-22 season with three total team wins, including one during the fall season at the Palmetto Collegiate.
Other two titles from last season were at UNF's annual home event, the UNF Collegiate, as well as the ASUN Championship.
The projected team lineup includes a sophomore, three juniors and a graduate student.
Christin Eisenbeiss, Daniela Gonzalez and Jessie Cai played in all 11 events during the 2021-22 season, while Kaitlynn Washburn and Wyndom Burnett will be making their team debuts.
The tournament field includes 11 teams, including five teams that ended the 2021-22 season ranked by Golfstat.
The Ospreys begin play on Sunday, Sept. 18, and will play one round per day to wrap up on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

FROM THE 19TH HOLE

Christin Eisenbeiss returns for her junior year after being selected to the All-ASUN First Team, as well as making the ASUN All-Tournament team. She looks to lead the Ospreys to another successful campaign and get back to the NCAA Championship for the second time in three seasons after playing there as an individual in 2021.
Daniela Gonzalez brings the most experience to the team with this being her fifth season on the roster, as no other player has been on the team for longer than two seasons. The former All-ASUN Second Team selection will look to start her final season strong this weekend in Madison.
Jessie Cai is the third and final player from this past year to have team experience heading into the 2022-23 season. She was a key part of pushing the Ospreys to six top-three placements last year and has her sights set on repeating her success from 2021-22 at Wisconsin.
Kaitlynn Washburn will be playing for the first time since the 2020-21 season, as well as the first time as a part of the team score. She has played four events in her collegiate career as an unattached individual with a scoring average of 77.42.
Wyndom Burnett is slated to make her Osprey debut this weekend as a sophomore.
