Women's Golf Shares Third After First Round of Badger Invitational

MADISON, Wis. - North Florida women's golf put together a solid outing up north on its first day of fall competition, as the Ospreys are tied for third through one round at the Badger Invitational.
The Ospreys share third place with Old Dominion at 5-over 293. Sophomore Wyndom Burnett had an outstanding collegiate debut with 2-under 70 on the day to sit alone in third place overall on the player's leaderboard.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Burnett was the only Osprey on Sunday to shoot a score under par at 2-under 70.
- The Citrus Springs, Fla., native stayed consistent throughout the first round with the fourth-most pars at 14 total to go along with her three birdies.
- Christin Eisenbeiss had a rough start with three bogeys in her first five holes, but turned back into form notching four total birdies to get back to 1-over 73 and sit just outside the top 12.
- It only took Jessie Cai two holes to earn the first eagle of the year for UNF, as she had a good day at 2-over 74 to finish just inside the top 25 after day one.
- Daniela Gonzalez will head into the second round tied for 37th with a score of 4-over 76, while Kaitlynn Washburn also carded 4-over 76 in her Osprey team debut Sunday afternoon.
- The Ospreys have a strong hold on the best average score on par-five holes at 4-under 4.84 through the first 18.
