JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf returns from the break to compete in its first official tournament of the spring season. The Ospreys will tee off on Monday morning in the FAU Paradise Invitational hosted by Florida Atlantic at Osprey Point Golf Course.

TOURNAMENT TIDBITS
- This will be North Florida's second-consecutive appearance at the FAU Paradise Invitational, as they finished fifth out of 13 teams in last year's tournament.
- The field includes 15 total teams, including four Power Five teams and ASUN-foe FGCU.
- Eight of the 15 teams in the invitational are ranked in the latest Golfstat Top 100 rankings, highlighted by No. 5 Florida.
- Both tournament days will start at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start between holes 9 and 11 on the first day.
- The Ospreys will be grouped with James Madison and No. 96 Missouri in Monday's opening pair of rounds.

- Ospreys finished their 2021 fall campaign taking home the Palmetto Intercollegiate title by 11 shots.
- Christin Eisenbeiss was the runner-up individual and the top Osprey player with a score of 7-under 209 (70-71-68).
- The Ospreys had four players within the top 20 individuals with Mindy Herrick placing in sixth, Daniela Gonzalez finishing tied for 16th, and Liss Davalos coming in tied for 19th.
- UNF played a co-ed exhibition match against Jacksonville in late January and turned in a 19-5 team victory to tune up for their spring season-opener this week.
SCORECARD REPORT
- The Ospreys had a strong fall season with a two top-two finishes through three tournaments, including a team title win at the Palmetto Intercollegiate.
- Christin Eisenbeiss will look to replicate the success she had during the fall season after turning in two top-10 individual finishes this past semester.
- Mindy Herrick and Sara McKevitt both had top-10 finishes of their own, with Herrick finishing sixth in the Palmetto Intercollegiate and McKevitt placing third in the Lady Paladin.
- Daniela Gonzalez also played two tournaments this past fall where she placed in the top 25 and had four rounds where she carded scores under par.

North Florida will return to play in its first home tournament of the season to host the First Coast Classic at Deerwood Country Club from Feb. 14-15.
