Women's Golf Seventh After Halted Second Round at FAU Paradise Invitational

BOCA RATON, Fla. - North Florida women's golf stands just outside the top at seventh through 33 holes of the FAU Paradise Invitational. The first round was delayed an hour and a half by fog in the morning, which resulted in play being halted due to darkness with three holes left in the second round.

- Sara McKevitt posted 1-under 71 during the first round and sits at 1-under thru 17 holes of the second round to finish the day as the top Osprey and tied for 17th on the player leaderboard.
- McKevitt played her best golf on par-five holes this afternoon, shooting 4-under on those holes with an average score of 4.50 that ranks third out of all players.
- Mindy Herrick joined McKevitt at 1-under 71 thru the first round and has an overall score of even after 34 holes.
- Daniela Gonzalez had an impressive first round at 2-under 70 and is tied with Herrick for 27th overall through 35 holes at an even score.
- Christin Eisenbeiss had a good start of 2-over 74 to open the first round, but picked it up in the second round with a score of 2-under through 17 holes.
- Eisenbeiss, as well as McKevitt, are tied for the second-most total pars (27) through the first day of delayed competition.
- Jessie Cai also played well today sitting at 3-over overall and a second-round score of 1-over with one hole left to play tomorrow morning.
