Behind the Line Score
- PC got runners to first and third with nobody out in the second, but Max McKinley coaxed a pop out and lineout to get out of it.
- UNF had a great opportunity, getting runners to first and second with nobody out, but PC turned a double play and worked a groundout.
- The Ospreys retired a PC runner at the plate on an attempted double steal play with runners at the corners. Isaiah Byars got the throw from Dallen Leach and returned it to him for the out.
- Presbyterian replied with an RBI double and RBI single for a 2-0 lead in the third, only batters later.
- Once again, PC escaped a jam in the bottom of the third, stranding two Ospreys.
- The Blue Hose added another run in the fourth, going up 3-0 with a sac fly.
- UNF cut the deficit to 3-1 in the fifth. Blake Pound opened the frame with a single through the left side and Aidan Sweatt later scored him with a hit in the same fashion.
- The Ospreys had consecutive two-out hits in the sixth, but both were stranded.
- Three-straight walks led into an Isaiah Byars sac fly, scoring Sweatt in the seventh to cut into the lead and make it 3-2 PC.
- The walks hurt PC again. Pound opened the eighth with a walk before Drew Leinenbach pinch ran for him. Tyler Gerteisen chopped a single through the right side, moving Leinenbach to third. Sweatt hit one deep enough in center to score Leinenbach.
- After a string of scoreless innings, Presbyterian broke the tie and went up, 5-3, thanks to four singles in the eleventh.
- UNF got one runner on in the 11th on a Byars infield single, but that was it.
