2024
- Played in 40 games, while starting 18, making many appearances as a defensive substitution and pinch runner in a number of games
- Drove in 12 and walked 14 times while stealing four bases
- Went 1-for-4 with a run, RBI and a double at Florida Feb. 21
- Went 2-for-2 with two runs and a walk against Lipscomb April 13
2023
- Took a redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury in the preseason.
2022
- Made an impact right away as a true freshman, tallying 36 games played, 29 starts and 100 at-bats.
- Had a knack for tracking down balls on the warning track and even robbing home runs.
- Robbed Florida’s Jud Fabian of a home run in the first inning against Florida March 1, making the NCAA Baseball social media pages.
- Also crashed into the wall twice to rob USF’s Ben Rozenblum of extra bases in a 13-10 win at USF April 5.
- Shared time with Justin Holmes in centerfield, making 24 starts at that position, just second on the team to Holmes.
- Had a multi-hit game in just his second game at North Florida, going 2-for-5 with a stolen base Feb. 20.
- Went 2-for-3 with two runs, a double and two walks against Boston College March 6.
- Stole a bag, singled and scored in a road win at UCF March 11.
- His biggest day offensively came in a 3-for-4 performance with a season-high two RBI and a double at Liberty April 23.
- Crossed home twice and singled in UNF’s series clinching win against Kennesaw State May 1.
- Scored twice and walked in UNF’s 9-8 11-inning win against FGCU.
Prior to UNF:
- Four-year varsity letterwinner at Chiles HS in Tallahassee.
- Two-time district champion.
- First Team All-Big Ben 2021.
- Went 3-for-4 in the regional championship game in 2021, posting two singles and a double while coming in relief and fanning three in a row to escape a jam.
- Hit .307 with 19 runs and 10 RBI as a sophomore.
- Broke out at the plate as a senior, hitting .341 with one home run, 18 RBI and 21 runs.
- Also collected a 3-1 record with 7 saves on the mound.

- Son of Nicole and Aaron Gerteisen.

- Father played baseball at Tallahassee Community College before making it all the way to the Triple A level with the St. Louis Cardinals.
