PIGG'S POINTS
"We finished the weekend with a lot of personal bests and gained more experience on the indoor track. After not running indoor track in 2021 due to the pandemic, we saw a lot of progress and growth among our athletes.Ladarius Tellis kicked off the day on the track running a personal-best in 1000m. He looked strong and more comfortable than he did on the previous day in the 800m. Timothy Doyle, Aiden Arnold, and Robert Pedroza all ran personal bests in the mile and are starting to look more comfortable on the indoor track.
Likewise, on the women's side, Mia McLain and EJ Schlageter ran indoor personal bests and competed well. Many of our runners ran two events over the weekend, which provides good experience for them going into the ASUN Championships in two weeks where many of them will compete over multiple days. Kaley Petrosky continues to improve as she jumped a season-best of 1.64 meters and gains momentum going into the conference meet."
