JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer closes out the regular season with the River City Rumble against Jacksonville on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Hodges Stadium at 7 p.m.
Jacksonville has played to a 3-7-4 overall record with a 0-4-3 record in conference play this season. They have yet to win a road match on the year and have not won a game since facing Georgia Southern on Sept. 20.
The Dolphins have faced two ranked opponents this year with both being losses on the road against No. 17 Lipscomb and No. 1 Wake Forest. It will be the first time JU will play back-to-back road games since playing at Wofford and Lipscomb in early September.
Ed Port has done it all for JU this year as the only player with multiple goals and assists with three each. Joshua Araujo-Wilson and Olivier Correa join Port with the top team mark of three goals, while Moussa Sabaly leads his squad in assists with seven total.
JU has played three different goalkeepers in 2022 with Jabari Gray leading with the most playing time at nine starts. He joins Christian Sekanina and Eduardo Thome to combine for 46 saves, as all three have recorded a win in front of the net.
North Florida has clinched its spot in the ASUN postseason and will await the result of the Bellarmine-Lipscomb match to travel to either Nashville, Tenn., or Conway, Ark., to play in the quarterfinals.
