Men's Soccer Adds Assistant Coach Ludvig Rhodin

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Soccer Head Coach Marlon Montanella announced the addition of Assistant Coach Ludvig Rhodin on Tuesday.
"We're thrilled to welcome Ludvig Rhodin to our staff," Montanella said. "Ludvig brings tremendous energy, professionalism and a wealth of experience that will make an immediate impact on our program. His expertise extend beyond goalkeeper training; he also brings valuable experience in on-field coaching and player development. His passion for the game, commitment to excellence and ability to develop student-athletes makes him an outstanding addition to our staff."
Rhodin most recently served as an Assistant Coach for Clayton State University from 2023-26. He worked with the goalkeeper unit and developed 2023 and 2024 Peach Belt All-Conference selection Mauricio Uribe.
He helped lead Clayton State Men's Soccer to a 13-4-4 record and an NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament Elite Eight appearance in 2024 and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2023.
Since 2023, Rhodin has served as Co-Founder and Co-Director of The Elite Goalkeeper Camp, an annual camp held in Atlanta, Ga., and Louisville, Ky., that attracts 100 to 120 goalkeepers from across the country each year. Rhodin also worked in an Assistant/Goalkeepers Coach role with Des Moines Menace of the USL League Two in 2023.
Rhodin has served as Academy Goalkeepers Coach for Atlanta United's U-13 through U-18 team since 2026.
He served as an Assistant/Goalkeepers Coach for Davis & Elkins College from 2022-23 and helped lead the program to a 16-3-1 record which culminated in a No. 1 ranking in the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25 National Poll and a 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament Sweet 16 appearance.

Rhodin also served as an Assistant/Goalkeepers Coach for the University of The Incarnate Word from 2019-20 and a Graduate Assistant Coach for Western Illinois from 2020-22.
He holds a U.S. Soccer National C and D Coaching license.
Rhodin earned his bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Montana State University – Billings in 2019 and master's degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois University in 2022.
