JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's golf plays in its second-straight tournament inside the Sunshine State when the Ospreys compete against some of the top teams in the nation at the Isleworth Collegiate hosted by UCF from Oct. 23-25 in Windermere, Fla.

The Ospreys are coming off their first team title of the season at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational after three players placed inside the top 10 individuals. Nick Gabrelcik highlighted the meet for the Ospreys with a runner-up finish that broke the program's 54-hole record, which earned him this past week's ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK

This will be the fifth all-time appearance at the Isleworth Collegiate, as well as their second straight after not playing from 2014-20.
Last season, the Ospreys placed seventh at the UCF meet with a team score of 11-over 875.
Gabrelcik, as well as Robbie Higgins and Davis Lee, all played at the event last fall, with Gabrelcik placing fifth overall and Higgins just outside the top 10 individuals.
Ospreys will look to win back-to-back team titles for the first time since earning the ASUN Championship and NCAA Tallahassee Regional team titles in 2013.
Will also have sights set on winning two fall tournaments as a team for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
The projected team lineup for this week will include a sophomore, two juniors, and a senior.
The tournament field consists of 15 total teams, as 11 of them are ranked in the top 100 by Golfstat.
The field in this event also includes three teams in the top 11 and seven teams in the top 50.
UNF joins UCF, the host team, along with No. 11 Florida as the three teams staying in-state for this tournament.
The Ospreys tee off the first round at 9 a.m., as they are grouped with LSU and Purdue on the opening day of play.
The event will play the second round on Monday, Oct. 24, and will wrap up the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
It's the first of two fall events that will be played over a span of three days after having the first and second rounds grouped into one day in their first three events.

FROM THE 19TH HOLE

Nick Gabrelcik had his best showing of the fall season so far for the Ospreys with his 16-under 200 performance last week in Vero Beach, Fla. He broke the program records for best 54-hole tournament score and best to-par score, while also becoming the sole leader of top-five finishes at UNF with 14 total through three meets in his junior season.
Robbie Higgins has been the top scorer for North Florida this year with an average score of 69.44 through three meets. On top of his first-career medalist crown at Northwestern, he also has six rounds under par, two tournaments under par, three top-25 finishes and two top-10 finishes so far this fall.
Davis Lee joins Gabrelcik and Higgins as the only three Ospreys in this tournament to have played in all three meets this fall. He had an impressive top-10 showing at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invite with back-to-back rounds in the 60s on the opening day of play.
Lance Yates will return to compete in this event after not playing last weekend in Vero Beach. Through his first two tournaments of the fall season, he has one top-25 placement to his name with a scoring average of 73.17.

North Florida will play in its fifth and final tournament of the fall season when UNF heads out to Hawaii to compete in the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate from Oct. 28-30.
