McKinley Turns in a Quality Start, Ospreys Notch 14 Hits
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF baseball (13-16, 7-4 ASUN) overturned a 3-1 deficit with a six-run fifth inning and three-run sixth inning behind righty Max McKinley's quality start in the Ospreys' 10-4 win against Jacksonville (7-25, 0-11 ASUN) Saturday, April 24.
North Florida bats broke out for 14 hits, 12 of which were singles, paced by three-hit days from Blake Marabell and Tanner Clark.Â
Slots five-through-nine collected 12 of UNF's 14 hits on the day.
North Florida was leading 10-4 before the game went to a weather delay in the bottom of the eighth. After nearly two hours of lightning and on-and-off rain, North Florida sealed the win and at least a series victory.

Behind the Line Score
- Aidan Sweatt doubled down the left field line and scored one batter later when Clark laced an RBI single up the middle.
- Jacksonville took a 2-1 lead in the third. A sac fly and RBI double from Dakota Julylia put the Dolphins ahead.
- JU added one in the fifth after two singles and a successful safety squeeze bunt.
- UNF broke out for a six-run fifth thanks to a flurry of singles and tactful baserunning. Byars, Presno, Marabell, Sweatt and Grodi all singled in the frame.
- The string of singles continued in the sixth. A pair of walks followed by singles from Clark, Bogart and Grodi made it 10-3 Ospreys.
- JU took advantage of an error to plate one in the seventh.
- The rain arrived in the bottom of the eighth with none away, pushing the tarp to the field.
