UNF Opens Against Seventh-Seeded Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The chase for the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship begins Friday in DeLand, with step one featuring second-seeded North Florida against seventh-seeded Jacksonville.
First serve is slated for 10 a.m. from Stetson's Cooper Beach Courts. The winner plays at 4 p.m, while the loser enters an elimination contest Saturday, April 24 at 8 a.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball (19-9) took care of business in its final day of the regular season, defeating (RV) FGCU (15-13) before sweeping host Jacksonville (2-18-1) on Sunday, April 18.

The Navy and Gray finished with the second-most wins in the ASUN, concluding the regular season with a 19-9 record and .679 winning percentage … the Ospreys played their first full season at The Coop, going 11-3 in home matches … North Florida picked up two ranked wins in the same season for the first time since 2016, defeating #11 FAU and #20 FGCU … the Ospreys earned a national ranking in the CollegeBeachVolleyball.com poll … it's the second time in the last two ASUN Beach Volleyball Championships that UNF has been the second seed … the Ospreys played 10 nationally ranked teams.

Dana Roskic and Antonia Harrison finished 22-6, going 8-1 at the top slot and 14-5 at the second pair … the duo is 9-1 over the last 10 matches and on a four-match winning streak … Taryn Griffey and Callie Workman played exclusively together, going 16-2 and 13-6 at the top flight … Lauren Galinis and Carleigh Semeniuk finished with the second-most wins on the team at 17-11 … Roskic's .725 career winning percentage stands as the best mark in program history … North Florida used 18-different pair combinations during the year.
