Ospreys Sweep Jacksonville, Drop Match to FGCU
DeLAND, Fla. - UNF beach volleyball (20-10) swept Jacksonville to open the day before dropping the second match to third-seeded FGCU (17-13) on day one at the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship Friday, April 23.
UNF is set to face Mercer at 10 a.m. tomorrow in an elimination game.
Match 1: UNF 5, JU 0
UNF won every set across five courts, sweeping Jacksonville for the fourth time on the year, while reaching the 20-win milestone in the process.Â
Dana Roskic and Antonia Harrison clinched the match at the top pair after UNF's fourth and fifth pairs rolled to wins out of the gate.Â

Carleigh Semeniuk and Lauren Galinis were the victors in three frames at the fourth slot, finishing second.Â
FGCU got the upperhand by winning in two sessions at pair one. Antonia Harrison and Dana Roskic were within two in both sets one and two.Â
Despite going to three frames at positions two and three, FGCU was able to work two more decisions.
