TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - UNF beach volleyball (17-7) played its fourth-ranked opponent in five matches, falling to #3 Florida State (24-4), 5-0, on the road Saturday, April 10.

North Florida was originally scheduled to play #15 FIU as well, although inclement weather cut down the day to one match.

Taryn Griffey and Callie Workman created a 1-0 lead and Maddie Norris got her first call to the third slot as an Osprey, but host #3 Florida State won at each court in the weekend finale in Tallahassee.

Antonia Harrison and Dana Roskic had their seven-match winning streak snapped. The duo is still 18-6 on the year and 4-1 at the top slot.

Norris got her first opportunity to play at the third slot. It was also her first match outside of extras competition.
Anna Mallory and Angelie Rosario also earned time at extras, as did Sophie Beckley and Leah Maloney.
