FIRST TEE — After COVID prevented North Florida men's golf from hosting their annual event in 2020, The HAYT, the No. 26-ranked Ospreys welcome a field of 13 other squads for the 2021 version beginning Sunday morning at Sawgrass Country Club.

- North Florida is hosting this home event for the 29th time
- Ospreys are a four-time champion of the event (2017, 2013, 2010, 1994)
- UNF finished 4th in the 2019 with former standout Travis Trace boasting the squad's top finish at T8 | Current assistant coach Jordan Batchelor earning a T16 showing
- This season North Florida will send 10 players to the course for competition
- Field features 12 of 14 squads listed in the current Top 100 highlighted by 9 Top 50 teams and 5 in the Top 25 including the nation's top-ranked squad (FSU)

- Freshman Nick Gabrelcik leads the squad with five Top 25 finishes including a trio of Top 5 showings highlighted by medalist titles at the Sea Best Invitational & General Hackler Championship
- Nine of Gabrelcik's 15 competitive rounds have been in the 60s this season and only two have been over par
- Gabrelcik was named to the "Watch List" for the prestigious Haskins Award, presented to the collegiate Golfer of the Year
- Thru five events, UNF boasts 13 Top 25 individual finishes
- North Florida collected the team crown at the Sea Best Invitational marking the 30th team title in the program's Division I era
- Ospreys have captured a tournament championship in each of the past five seasons
