JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Â The North Florida women's tennis team hosts FAU Wednesday before continuing ASUN play with a match at Kennesaw State Saturday.
Against Our Opponent
UNF leads the series 5-2 against FAU, most recently defeating the Owls, 4-3, March 5. UNF leads the series 23-1 against Kennesaw State, winning the last match, 5-2, April 4. 2019.Â
Last Time Out
The Ospreys (9-6, 2-0 ASUN) are coming off wins over ASUN foes FGCU and Stetson.Â

Home Match COVID-19 ProtocolsÂ
This season, due to UNF, ASUN and NCAA Covid-19 protocol, all spectators will be required to view tennis matches from outside the perimeter fencing at the UNF Tennis Complex. Sightlines will be limited by the windscreen that will remain in place on all fencing. All areas within the perimeter fencing including the areas between courts 1 and 2 as well as the tennis complex restrooms will be closed to spectators and maintained as a team-only area due to social distancing requirements. Spectators will be able to access restrooms at Hodges Stadium during all tennis matches. Admission to all matches is free and masks are required while on the UNF Campus.

- North Florida is 11-3 in the two slot in singles with Catherine Gulihur leading the way, 9-3.Â
- Freshman Annabelle Davis is 4-0 in singles.Â
- Gulihur and partner Ana Paula Melilo are 10-2, in the one slot in doubles.Â
- Constanza Gorches and Lucia Montano are 8-5 on court two in doubles.Â
- Montano was ranked 84th in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings Jan. 13. and earned ASUN Player of the Week honors Feb. 3.
- In 2020 North Florida went 10-1, with their only loss at No.24 Florida before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Ospreys are the five-time defending ASUN Tournament Champions after downing FGCU, 4-3, in the title match in 2019.
- North Florida's roster features eight returners and two newcomers. Freshman Annabelle Davis joins the squad this year along with junior transfer Catherine Gulihur from Oklahoma State.Â
- Head coach Catherine Dunagan enters her second season as the head coach at UNF. Assistant coach Ana Roman enters her second year with the Ospreys as well.Â

- The Owls (6-4) are coming off a 6-1 win against USF March 16.Â
- Natalia Boltinskaya is 6-3 overall in singles, 4-3 in the one slot.Â
- Kimhi May is 7-2 overall in singles and Martina Kudelova is 5-3.Â
- FAU is .500 or better on courts one, two, five and six.Â
- Radka Buzkova and Katerina Filip are 4-2 in doubles.Â
- Head coach Caroline Wheelen enters her second year with the Owls.Â
Kennesaw StateÂ
- The Owls (5-8, 0-2 ASUN) are coming off a 3-4 loss to FGCU March 20.
- In singles, Ji Youn Lee is 9-2 and Soomin Kim is 6-5.
- Kennesaw State is 4-4 in the two slot in doubles.Â
- Director of Tennis Matt Emery is in his third season at Kennesaw State.Â
