Ospreys Bring Home Six Individual Honors
ORLANDO - Led by three top 10 finishes, UNF men's cross country made it back-to-back ASUN Championship titles as the Ospreys led the 12-team field at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Saturday, Oct. 30.
The Ospreys reeled in a series of honors, with head coach Jeff Pigg being named ASUN Coach of the Year for the second season in a row. Noah Perkins and Nathan Jubran were named to the ASUN First Team with their top-five finishes respectively, and the trio of Jake Turner, Timothy Doyle and Aidan O'Gorman took home Second Team All-ASUN honors.
North Florida finished with a final score of 41 points, 14 ahead of Liberty and 19 ahead of third place Lipscomb. UNF averaged a 24:23 time across its seven-scoring finishers.

FINISH LINE
- The Ospreys claimed the team title after finishing 14 points ahead of second place LIberty thanks to three runners in the top 10. North Florida was tied with Liberty for the most runners in the top 10.
- UNF's big three of Noah Perkins, Nathan Jubran and Jake Turner finished within 18 seconds of each other.
- Noah Perkins took second after finishing fourth in last year's ASUN Championship. Perkins was only 1.5 seconds behind Eastern Kentucky's Ahmed Jaziri.
- The ASUN Preseason Runner of the Year, Nathan Jubran, was leading at the 5K mark. He finished just under seven seconds back of first place.
- Jake Turner's eighth place finish was just two places behind his ASUN Freshman of the Year performance in the ASUN Championship last season.
- Timothy Doyle and Jared Vazquez added key finishes in the top 20.
