Cross Country Reveals 2026 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's and Women's Cross Country revealed its 2026 schedule on Monday.
The schedule features four regular season meets, one of which will be at home, prior to postseason competition.
The schedule opens at home on Sept. 4 with the Florida Intercollegiate Cross Country Invitational at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Fla. The host site returns to Cecil Field for the second-straight season after it was held there for the first time in 2025. It marks the fourth time in the last five seasons that the Ospreys have hosted a home meet.
After the home meet, North Florida competes in the final three regular season meets – Queen City Invite, Georgia Tech XC Invitational,Princeton Cross Country Fall Classic – for the first time in program history.
North Florida travels to Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the Queen City Invite, hosted by fellow ASUN Conference member Queens (NC), on Sept. 11. North Florida heads to the Georgia Tech XC Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech, on Oct. 2 in Atlanta, Ga.
North Florida rounds out its regular-season slate on Oct. 16 when it travels to Princeton, N.J. for the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted by Princeton.
North Florida competes in the 2026 ASUN Championship on Oct. 30 for the 22nd time in program history. The conference meet will take place at Eastern Kentucky's The University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky. The Ospreys recorded a combined total of nine All-ASUN selections between First, Second, Third and All-Freshman Team selections in 2025.
Both teams earned top-three finishes at the conference meet in 2025, the third-straight season with a top-three finish on the men's side and the second-straight year for the women.
North Florida will continue its postseason push at the NCAA South Regional Championship in Tallahassee, Fla. on Nov. 14. Teams and individuals who qualify will advance to the NCAA Championships on Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Ind.
