TAMPA, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis combined to earn a series of wins on day two at the Bedford Cup Saturday, Oct. 2. Four Ospreys earned singles wins, while
Anslee Long and
Sean Lodzki, as well as the pair of
Kendall Nash and Oliveira, reached the Flight B Doubles North Finals.
The Ospreys took part in 14 different matches, with 11 coming in singles competition.
Summer Yardley, Davis, Nash and Long all picked up singles wins on the day.

About the Bedford Cup - 2021
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Singles: 2 - 32 compass draws
- Play format: 2 out of 3 sets, no ad, with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set; main draw singles finals will be a full 2 out of 3 sets; new balls for each set, 2nd set balls will be used for the match tiebreak
- Doubles: 2 – 16 compass draws
- Play format: 6 game pro set, no ad scoring, with 7-point tiebreak at 6-6; main draw doubles finals will be 1 8-game pro set with a 7 pt set tiebreak at 8 games all.
- players guaranteed at least 2 singles and 2 doubles matches
- Order of Play - Matches start at 9am daily, 5 min warm up before each match in both singles and doubles.
- Courts assigned on a TO FOLLOW basis.
- Friday - 2 doubles, 2 singles
- Saturday - 1 doubles, 2 singles
- Sunday - 1 doubles, 1 singles
Compass Draw Format:
- At the end of each round, the winners continue in their tournament in the same direction, while the losers move to other points on the compass to form a new satellite tournament.
