MACON, Ga. - The UNF women's tennis team had a big day on day one at the Mercer Gridiron Classic. The Ospreys totaled seven singles wins and a trio of doubles victories Friday.

Headlining UNF's wins were Lucia Montano, Kendall Nash and Valentina Mariotto, with each reaching the quarterfinals of the Flight A Singles Bracket. All three will open the day tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., with the semifinals matches being held at 12 p.m. 

North Florida will also have two doubles pairs representing it in the quarterfinals of the Doubles Flight A bracket. Ana Paula Melilo and Montano along with Nash and Florencia Rossi will take the courts in those matches at 5 p.m. tomorrow. 

Rossi and Sean Lodzki will begin their mornings tomorrow in the quarterfinals of the Singles - Flight B bracket after advancing via a bye and a win respectively.
