Senior Day, Regular Season Finale Slated for Thursday

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. - UNF will complete its regular season with two matches at home Thursday as it vies for a spot in the 2019 ASUN Championship and honors its three-standout seniors, Nicole DeBolt, Chaney Howard and Brittany Pase.

Last Time Out
MACON, Ga. - The Ospreys (17-12, 4-2 ASUN) improved to 4-2 in ASUN play after splitting two matches on the second of two days in Macon. UNF dropped a 4-1 match to No. 10/11 Stetson before getting its own 4-1 win against Mercer.

Against Our Opponents

UNF and FGCU are no strangers to one another. The two programs have met 22 times, with UNF possessing the series advantage, 17-5.
The Ospreys are 10-4 in neutral settings and 7-1 on the road, making this the first time UNF and FGCU will meet with the Ospreys as the hosts.
The Ospreys went 3-1 against FGCU a year ago.

Workman and Roskic topped their opposing pair in both of the matches against No. 10/11 Stetson this past weekend.
UNF has received votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll for five different weeks. It's received votes six times in the DiG Magazine Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll.

About Our Seniors

UNF's three seniors have been some of the best to play at UNF since the program was begun in 2012. This year they've combined to generate 49 wins, playing between the first and third slots.
Nicole DeBolt is 18-9 on the year and 15-5 at the third slot, playing primarily with Madilyn McCarty. DeBolt is 57-31 on her career, ranking third for all-time wins. Her .648 winning percentage is good for sixth in career history, and her 20 wins a year ago ranks tied-for-sixth all-time for a single season. DeBolt was a 2018 ASUN All-Tournament Team selection in 2018 alongside Madilyn McCarty and was an ASUN Pair of the Week honoree with Shannon McPherson April 18, 2017.
Chaney Howard became UNF's all-time wins leader earlier this year in a triumph against Eckerd March 8. The St. Cloud, Fla., native passed Courtney Miller in setting the record with her 62nd triumph. She is the only Osprey to ever eclipse 70 career wins, and her 27 wins as a freshman in 2016 ranks as the most among a rookie in UNF history, and second all-time. That season she notched an .818 winning percentage, the third best doubles percentage in school history. This season she is 16-14 and 72-48 all told, touting a .600 winning percentage, 10th in UNF history. Howard was a 2016 ASUN All-Freshman Team honoree, MVP of the 2016 ASUN Championship and 2018 All-ASUN First Team selection with partner Taryn Griffey.
Brittany Pase is 15-14 this year and currently ranks tied-for-fourth for the most wins in UNF history with 56. Her .727 winning percentage in 2016 ranks tenth all-time for a single season.

FGCU

The Eagles are 10-7 and 0-2 in ASUN play this season.
FGCU fell 4-1 to No. 10 Stetson in a pair of matches last week before rebounding to win three-straight 5-0 decisions, two against Florida Southern and one against Tampa.
FGCU has only had six different pairs play this season. Amanda Carroll and Kristine Garder are 10-7 at the one spot.
